Today marks the third day of build season for the Birch Bots! New members got familiar with each other and the lab by completing “gofer” runs (small retrieving tasks) for veteran members and reorganizing the entire lab. Although this work is tedious, it is necessary not only for space reasons, but forming the foundation of their skill sets. After the rookies assimilated, the more experienced members led a short intro on the basics of shooting balls with counterrotating wheels. While testing it out, Harry March, the head of electrical and programming, propelled the ball into his face! Here’s the video, check it out here!
